Target Retail Pushes to Lead in Black Hair Care with Beverly Johnson’s New Line

It’s no secret that Target is on the top 5 list of most women in America’s favorite places to shop.  Anytime you step into that place with intentions of picking up just a few things, you find yourself at the register with a whole lot of extra that wasn’t on the list!  That’s because Target is the master of making you think you MUST have whatever they’re selling.

As many of you may have noticed, Target is really expanding it’s selection of black hair care products, one of the reasons for the  INABH! Target Gift Card Giveaway.  The natural hair movement, alone, gets it’s own end cap display in many Target stores around the country, with complete product line displays of Miss Jessie’s, Curls, Shea Moisture and Kinky Curly.  Once again Target proves that they “get it.”

Now Target is adding another line from Beverly Johnson, Model Logic.  Not deemed as a “black girl only” product, this is a multicultural line of haircare products.  The collection even includes drawstring ponytails that will be sold at Target (yes…people are still wearing these so kudos to Target for giving girls another outlet to shop for them!).  We have never seen a fake ponytail at Target!  But we at INABH! wish Beverly all the best!  She’s a beautiful icon who has much to offer in the world of beauty.  Partnering with Target is a great coup.
