We’ve all been there! In need of a good hair stylist. Whether you’ve moved from one city to the next, or just couldn’t spare the 6 hour commitment it can sometimes take for a black woman to get her hair done. A black girl without a good stylist is like having a left shoe on and no right one to match.
While word of mouth is the way referrals for a good stylist have come to us in the past, often times we can’t afford the lapse in between hair appointments to wait on that girl with the fly cut to possibly happen across our paths. And have you ever tried to search the internet in search of a good black hair stylist? Exactly. Hence… INeedABlackHairStylist.com is born… A community for women to spread the word, good, bad, or indifferent about one of the most important people in a black girl’s life.
We want to make this THE go-to place for black women to find a good hair stylist. So whether you have a natural or a relaxer, short hair or long, your input is necessary. While we realize this site is a review site, but WE DO NOT SUPPORT HAIR STYLIST OR HAIR SALON BASHING. Remember, you could be affecting someone’s livelihood. So keep it straightforward and professional. And most of all, make your reviews useful. For more information, see our Posting Do’s and Don’ts.
Post pics if you have them! Spread the word and let everyone know we’re here. Because this is important! You may have a good hair stylist now, but ANYTHING can happen. And when and if it does, you need to know where to go, who to see and what to expect when you get there!
